AI Visibility Study: CRM software
A GEO Advisor study analyzing how CRM brands appear in AI search. Based on 300 prompts, we break down which vendors get mentioned, how they are framed, and what buying signals AI models surface.
Why we ran this study
At GEO Advisor, we track how brands appear in AI generated answers across categories. As buyers increasingly ask AI which tools to use, visibility inside models is becoming a new competitive surface.
This study looks at CRM software. We wanted to understand which CRM platforms show up most often in AI search, how models describe them, and which strengths and tradeoffs influence recommendations.
Methodology
We tested 300 CRM related prompts covering buyer intent, comparisons, and feature driven questions.
For each brand, we measured:
Mention rate
Sentiment
Share of voice
We combined these signals into a single AI Visibility Score. We also analyzed the qualitative framing AI models use when describing each product.

Key takeaway
In the CRM category, AI visibility is driven by two factors.
First, time to value. Tools that are easy to adopt and deliver fast wins show up more often in AI recommendations.
Second, extensibility. Platforms with strong ecosystems and integration stories are framed as safer long term choices.
On the flip side, pricing complexity and restrictive plans directly impact sentiment and reduce recommendation strength.
For CRM vendors, this means AI search visibility is not just about brand awareness. It is shaped by product positioning, onboarding experience, and how clearly strengths and tradeoffs are communicated.
